Please Be Sure to Bring Correct identification Required On Collection.

Do I need identification?

We require two forms of identification. One photographic i.e. valid driving license and a utility bill or bank statement, no more than three months old. Both forms of identification must show the hirer's name and current address. We will only release the machinery to the hirer. If a third party is collecting on behalf of the hirer we require written conformation from the hirer and proof of identity of the person collecting.

How does the pricing work?

Hire charges commence from the time the machinery is collected from our premises, which will be shown on the hire contract, and continue until the hired items are returned. All days are charged including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. We charge for time out, not time used.

Hire Periods

A “day” is up to 24 consecutive hours.

A “week” is five consecutive days inclusive.

“Special Package Deal” is collection 9am Friday and returned 9am Monday. If return is later than stated, the hirer has the right to charge a full days hire charge. Our hire division is closed weekends so equipment cannot be returned early.

Can I reserve equipment?

We will reserve machinery by telephone, email or in writing. We take a £50 non-refundable holding deposit, which will be deducted from final hire invoice. Please note credit card usage will be added at 2.5%. Cancellations will result in loss of deposit.

Do I need to leave a deposit?

We require a £250 deposit before any goods are released. This must be cleared funds i.e. debit card or cash. Credit cards accepted but carry a 2.5% charge of total. The deposit will be refunded on return of machinery.

What happens when I have finished with the equipment?

On return to our premises the machinery will be checked by one of our members of staff. If we for any reason believe the machines have been misused, or damaged then we will inform you whilst you are still on our premises. We will evaluate the damage and cost involved. Any cost for damage or misuse will be deducted from the initial deposit or in cases where the damage is more than the deposit, added to the final invoice. Failure to pay will result in legal proceedings to recover outstanding amount with immediate effect.

What happens if the equipment is damaged whilst on Hire?

General wear and tear can result in any machine breaking down on site. If this is the case then we as the “Hirer” will endeavor to replace the machine as soon as deemed possible. Damage by misuse will result in the previous statement coming into effect.

What happens if the equipment goes missing whilst on Hire?

Total loss by theft will be charged to the hirer.
